About Crocs Lock™

Crocs Lock™
Independent test results demonstrate that Crocs Lock™ tread is a leader in slip-resistance.
Crocs Lock™ tread has been independently tested on certain Crocs™ Work shoes at Intertek lab following the ASTM F1677 testing standards using the Mark II machine. When tested on quarry tile commonly found in restaurants, Crocs Lock&trade tread was found to be slip-resistant under certain wet, dry, soapy, oily and greasy conditions. The numbers above, selected by Crocs, Inc. engineering, are a representation of average & median scores as interpreted by Crocs' engineers from a controlled sample of tests conducted at Intertek labs. No shoe is 50% slip-resistant and test results may vary under different conditions.
Electrostatic Dissipative (ESD)
Crocs has created Electrostatic Dissipative (ESD) footwear. We have created a new ESD shoe compound of our proprietary closed cell resin with anti-static properties complying with certain ASTM ESD and EN ISO standards.
American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)
Crocs ESD footwear has tested and been certified to ASTM F 2413-05 standard, following test method: ASTM F 24-12-05, confirming that our shoes are Static Dissapative (anti-static) Footwear—electrical resistance to be > 50Ω & ≤ 50MΩ (1E+6 to 1E+8).
EN ISO
Crocs ESD footwear has tested and been certified to EN ISO 20347 standard, following test method: EN ISO 20344 : 2004, confirming that our shoes are Anti-static Footwear—electrical resistance to be > 50kΩ & 500MΩ (1E+5 to 1E+9).
