Wellie Rain Boot

I couldn't decide between the wellies and the rainfloe so I bought both to compare. I am sending the wellies back and keeping the rainfloe. The wellies are attractive, typical rubber boot style. I am petite and have petite calves so the boots fit over my jeans. I liked that they are completely waterproof. However, as other reviewers have noticed, they are quite stiff. That might have been fine if I was using them as just rainboots, but I would be wearing them to garden, and I have cracked rubber boots from all the flexing at the ankle. I think it would be difficult for me to work in them as inflexible they are. I did think they were cute, and the stiffness might have been broken in after a while, but I thought the rainfloe would work better for me.

True to the Crocs reputation, these boots are lightweight, yet very durable. They're sure to keep the rain out and seem as if they will last a long time. However, the material does not allow for much give, so some may find a little uncomfortable to walk in. I only had difficulty walking up and down stairs, since the boot is not flexible in the ankle and shin area. As a result, the shin part of the boot kept pressing against my leg as I was walking down stairs and didn't allow me to fully bend my leg. As a result, I had to awkwardly walk down each step somewhat flat-footed. The boots are otherwise comfortable and provide solid traction on slippery surfaces. Other than this odd part of the design, I will keep these because I feel as if they will do a great job of keeping my feet dry without breaking the bank.

I really wanted some cute red rain boots... well these Wellie's were not the cute red rain boots I was looking for. I am 5ft tall and have fairly large calves. These boots were too long for me and too tight at the top. When I got them on I could hardly move and when I walked they made rude noises out the top of the boots. Taking them off was no easy task either. I'm really disappointed that they didn't work. Maybe for taller women they would be better.

Disappointed in the looks of the boot. Very plain and too expensive. Could have bought a much cheaper boot with the same functionality elsewhere.
