I have plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. As a chef, I'm on my feet all day and night. Before I found these shoes, I couldn't enjoy a day out with my family if a lot of walking was required. These shoes literally gave me my fun life back. I have zero foot pain when I wear these shoes.

I never thought I would own a pair of Crocs and a couple of years ago, I slipped on the original Walu at a store not realizing they were Crocs and I had to buy them; they were so comfortable. So, now that the original pair wore out, I ordered a replacement pair.
While they look the same, the trimming that goes around the heel has been padded and while that seems like an improvement, it actually digs into your heel.
I had to return them. They were unbearable to wear.
Just wanted to warn those that are used to the original design that this is not the same!

Comments about Crocs Women’s Walu II Canvas Loafer:

I was so looking forward to these being as comfortable as the original Walu but the stitching at the sides of the tongue gave me blisters and I feel the thickness of the insole is part to blame. Please bring back the original Walu in all the prints you offer in the Walu 11

It took a little longer to receive my order than I thought, but not overly so. I love the shoes!! My only problem is that I will need to return then because I got a size too small.

Some of the reviews say they run really small so should I go up one size or two??
Asked on 8/2/2016 by Misty from Manning, SC

      • Staff Reviewer

        A:

Crocs come in 1 of 3 widths: STANDARD - Standard fits offer a more snug (but not tight) fit than our roomy or relaxed styles. They should conform to fit your foot securely with minimal or no slipping as you walk. RELAXED - Expect a little room, but a more secure fit than our roomy styles. Some models include laces or straps, but all should feel stable on your foot as you walk. ROOMY - Our roomiest fit, just like our original style clog. Some models include a heel-hugging back strap for more stability.

I wear hose at work. Do these make my feet sweat when wearing hose? They sweat enough as it is but I wonder if wearing these shoes, the would seat more. Thank you. And, if you have any suggestions on a pair of crocs, loafer style, black that would accommodate my hose wearing sweaty feet, please let me know. Thankyou.

        A:

Wearing socks with your Crocs may help alleviate this issue, and some customers find that using items tailored to issues such as this helps as well; items such has foot sprays and powders. Women's Walu II Canvas Loafer are considered breathable, if you do not required Slip-resistance you may want to try the Classics as they have ample holes to provide air flow. Also the Women's Kadee Work Flat is a great option or any of the breathable work crocs. You can also type in breathable in search @ Crocs.com for more options.

    • Q:

After extended use and since I wear them without socks, mine could use a cleaning. Is there a way to clean them or should I just order new ones?
      Asked on 5/26/2016 by Ann

      1 answer

      • Staff Reviewer

        A:

Combine some lukewarm water with a small amount of mild regular or laundry soap - avoid any kinds which contain a dye or artificial scent. Dampen the cloth and gently wipe the material, focusing on areas that are particularly marked. Please do not clean your Crocs shoes in the dishwasher or washing machine, as exposure to extreme heat may cause the Croslite material to shrink.

Do these stretch at all? The bigger size slips a bit and the smaller size is snug...

        A:

The Walu II has little to no arch support. I would suggest looking into the Athens, Specialist for arch support.

Can I get those loafers in a wide size?

      1 answer

        A:

Unfortunately, each style is made in only one of the 3 fits we offer. This loafer is only offered in a Standard fit.

    • Q:

Does this hold up well if it gets wet?
      Asked on 2/14/2016 by Kappy

      1 answer

      • Staff Reviewer

        A:

The Walu II is not designed for water use, so submerging them and wearing them very wet for long periods of time could damage the shoes. With that said, they are designed to support day-to-day exposure and wear. I wouldn't panic if it starts raining while you are out.
