I own dozens of pairs of the Capri IV shoes, all in size 5. I was disappointed that the Capri V size 5 was so much smaller than the Capri IV size 5.
I do like the softer feel of the Capri V, but unless they stretch as I wear them around the house, I won't wear them in public as my heel hangs off the back of the shoe. I suspect that the size 6 would be too large.
This isn't the first time I've been disappointed in the inconsistency of sizing in Crocs shoes. Every style seems to be designed to completely different sizing specifications.
I'll stick to the Capri IV style in the future. I know that they will fit.

I have 3 pair of Capri IVs, and online for new black ones, because I wore out the bottoms from wearing them for years walking my dog. I couldn't find any, and looked at Capri Vs, and ordered Navy Blue. I had read the comments about people ordering their normal size and they were too small. Instead of my normal 7, I ordered an 8. They came today and are really pretty. The 8s fit so I realize my foot would be falling off the back with the 7s. I kept them off after walking around a little while I've realized the leather straps are too wide. These flip flops stretch to begin with, so I didn't want a loose fitting pair to begin with. I'm really disappointed that I gave to return these. I'm also really disappointed they have the Capri IVs majorly on sale, so I might not be able to get black ones again. Also, when I ordered both pairs about ten days ago, the new Capri Vs said there was NO discount on the Capri Vs. Now you can get them 25% off. Makes me wonder if they are realizing they may have made a mistake with the sizes and they way they are fitting for everyone.

I have worn Capri IV's for their ability to provide cushion for my bad back. Does the Capri V have a thinner footbed and is the heel thinner? Or, does it just appear thinner. While the sole of the shoe is waterproof Croslite, the strap is made of leather and soft microfiber lining and do not have a water resistance rating on them. The leather may be damaged or mis-colored from consistent water exposure.Answered on 1/31/2016 by Cosmic Cassi from Crocs
