This is the best long-distance hiking shoe ever invented. I have hiked over 5000 miles in these, including thru-hikes of the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Colorado Trails. When other hikers are doing the hiker wobble in town, I'm still able to strut around and dance to funky beats.
They are good for about 500 miles per pair before the rubber wears thin in the ball of the foot. I wear a pair of wool socks on top of a pair of toe socks and it's crazy how good my feet feel. Other hikers always complain about foot pain and I just have no idea what that's like. I'll be attempting the triple crown this summer with a thru-hike of the Continental Divide Trail, and I'm planning for 6 pairs to take me the entire way. Crocs for life.

I bought these hoping they would be a suitable substitute for the Sport Duet. I see SO many people asking for these, I don't know why Crocs won't bring them back. These are a poor substitute. The heel cup is a little too narrow, the toe box is not as roomy, causing blisters on my toes (not good for diabetics!). The platform is hard as a rock. Where is the cushy comfort that made me love the Duet Sport so much and relieved back pain when walking? I'm going to try the new "Max Duet" as a last resort. If they aren't a decent sub for for the Sport Duet,I'll say good-bye to Crocs and find another brand.

i like the new design, but i prefer the old one. nah i'm not hanging on to the past. life moves forward and these will be with me in doing so. love crocs, these will be only the 3rd pair since 2007 they are built to last. (still have two) in the same time? sneakers have come and gone 10X over, and a bag of chips.

I wear Crocs year round since I was introduced to them 3 years ago. Northern Ohio had a warmer, sloppy, less than normal snowfall this year. I think the Off Road model is the best shoe yet for traction, dryness, and just like the others, comfort. I take care of farm animals and drive truck. Easy to clean and good in the snow under 2". I did have to wear boots 4 whole days this season, during a snow storm and below 21 degrees. Never any socks. If your feet get wet, they stay warm like in a diving wet suit. I have 5 pairs now and more in transit. Thank you for THE most comfortable shoe I have had in my 58 years. Greg Miller Medina, Ohio

Not as rugged as they look. Wish Crocs still made a trail clog that had more footbed and heal cushioning like my old pair.

I am VERY disappointed with this shoe. I take a 7 1/2 so I ordered an 8 which usually is fine this was HUGE. To make matters worse the velcro strap does not hold and is VERY BADLY MADE. Off road, REALLY? That is a laugh! Therefore I cannot wear these at all. DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES.
I am sorry to say these things, I have been wearing croc clogs since they first came out and have NEVER had a problem before.

I am a longtime crocs user but have become very very frustrated by the lack of consistency in the product. The current Crocs seem to be made of much harder and uncomforting plastic. Sizes vary from order to order, which is crazy if you're selling mostly online. It's a great way to frustrate your customers. They never seem to read these comments, or at least never respond to them. Bring back the Duet Sport with good croslite! Bring back good croslite plastic! Everyone should request this.

The Offroad and Offroad Sport are very similar shoes. Most notability will be the updated, sleeker design.
