I use this for casual purposes when I don't want to bother with laces or a shoehorn like getting the mail, emptying the trash, mowing, gardening, etc. Gives good coverage with minimal openings to keep lawn garden pest out, but allows adequate ventilation. Great for beach ware. There not as comfortable for walking as my New Balance 990. It's slightly difficult to slip on. The opening is slightly smaller than the width of my toe area, but the fit after they are on is roomy. I find the arch a bit annoying. I bought my first Crocs about 8 to 9 years ago. They were flip flops. I still have them. I don't see them for sale anymore. Please bring them back. So very comfortable.

For years I would not were Crocs because they were so ugly. Then, ten years ago my wife bought me a pair. They were so comfortable I wore them all the time. I've worn out several pairs. So when it was time to replace them I bought these. They are incredibly uncomfortable. They do not seem to have been designed to accept a foot. Where the strap hinges are rub my (narrow) foot. The arch is too low and rubs the top of my foot. The toe box is too narrow (again, my foot is already narrow) and there is a pressure point right under the ball of the foot. Bizarre.

And remember, all other Crocs, several styles, have been joyfully comfortable to me. I think the folks at Crocs have forgotten why we wear these ugly shoes.

I'm sending these back and don't recommend them for anyone. A good many reviews reflect these same issues.

Bought this style crocs for my husband because they looked good with his work work pants and golf shirts. He said they feel good and keep his feet from aching.

Comments about Crocs Men’s Swiftwater Leather Clog:

Great bc they look more socially acceptable than typical Crocs, strong for rain, snow, and keep your feet decent warm compared to classics. However, I got bad blisters on the edge of the bottoms of the arches of my feet from both shoes. Also, my feet get really sweaty in them, and could use more air. Would've been nice if the divot plastic had not broke because I could not find replacements and had to return them bc I was in the 2 month window.

Comments about Crocs Men’s Swiftwater Leather Clog:

I have several pair of old leather Croc clogs. Except for the sole and footbed, the entire upper is made with leather. The new model Swiftwater looks as if the uppers are leather. Not so. The good looking leather is applied to a plastic shell. This construction does not permit breathing of feet and for me causes blisters...skin again plastic
