I started off with the black pair...then needed a second pair so I got the blue pair...about to buy the white ones! These are my go-to shoes for work and fun. They're cool looking like other skater slip-ons I have but comfy and light on my feet. I just wish they had more colors and maybe even some in leather!

These shoes look nice but the Crocs comfort I rely on is lacking. The width is narrow, length is just right, the seam between the two insole materials digs into the bottom of my feet, there is little to no arch support, and the material around the top back edge is rubbing my skin raw above the back of my heel. I got hooked on Crocs 5 years ago and noticed a significant reduction of pain in my knees, legs, and back. Sadly the Norlin Slip-ons are not the best Crocs has to offer. I'm comparing the Norlins to Santa Cruz (canvas), Hover Lace-Up (canvas), Trailbreak sandals, Bistro clogs, Wellies, and Devario. Thankfully I picked these up on sale. If Crocs keep turning out shoes like this I'll take my business to the big blue retailer down the street that sells Croc-offs for $20.00 or less. I'm very disappointed in these shoes and hope this is not a continuing trend in the Crocs manufacturing process.

Men's Crocs Norlin Slip-on Review

By

from Bakersfield, CA

Comments about Crocs Norlin Slip-on:

The shoe fits as described in all of the Crocs documentation, if you wear a 1/2 size, go up to the next biggest. I wear an 11.5 and ordered a 12. The shoe fits perfectly.

In regards to feel, the slip-on is light and easy to walk in. The shoe "hugs" my foot well and does not slip when I walk. The only downside is it took a couple days to stretch out the points where the stretch meets the canvas shoe portion. It didn't create a pressure sore, but did rub a little uncomfortably for about two days of wear. That rub no longer is an issue and I found if I wore socks during the break-in phase, the pressure was much less noticeable.

The shoe looks great going sock-less with shorts as well as wonderful with a pear of jeans. These are a great pair of shoes and are highly recommended.

Comments about Crocs Norlin Slip-on:

I bought these for myself as opposed to one of the men in my family. i wanted them for running errands in the spring and summer. after wearing them for a day in the house, they are not errand running shoes. not the best pair of crocs ive purchased. no arch support as I have in other crocs and FAR less comfortable.

    Are these non-slips?

      A:

The Norlin Slip-On does not feature slip-resistant tread. Here is a link to our slip-resistant shoes: http://www.crocs.com/c/shop-by/activity/slip-resistant-shoes . They will say "slip resistant/ oil resistant" on the bottom of the shoe. Please note that while they are slip resistant, they are not completely slip proof. Please use general caution as you would in any other shoe.

I suggest hand washing your Crocs using cool water and a mild soap, then allow them to air-dry indoors. Often odor can be caused by sweat or other bacteria that is exposed to your shoes (i.e. walking in rain or other messes) and feet which collects on the shoe's surface. If your feet produce odor, you can wash your Crocs every now and then to get them back to normal.

I wear a size 14 in regular athletic shoe. Will a size 13 in Croc Nirlin Slip-on relaxed fit be suutable?

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

Often, I recommend going with the same size that you normally wear in other styles. I suggest sticking with a size 14. But because this style is offered in a roomier fit option, you may be ok trying the 13.

You can clean your Crocs with cold water and mild soap, and let them air dry. I would suggest not putting them in the dishwasher or washing machine, as this may damage the shoes.
