These are a great alternative to sandals. We live in a climate that rarely sees temps over 75 so spending on sandals is pointless. These are perfect to wear to the beach, school, park, wherever. My daughter loves them. They aren't going to fit snug, and that's what I am looking for Ina summer shoe. My daughter has no issue keeping them on her feet.

Oh so cute in the picture but what is up with that huge back strap. It just stays suspended I mid air on the back of her foot like a ring around Saturn!!! I bought her size and yet they are much bigger by at least a fingers width in the heal. Suggestion: if possible, have your little one try a pair on before ordering online!
