It fits great, feels like water shoes in a way, (material kind of feels like that). The soles are great, your feet aren't achy after 8 hours standing and walking around in the hospital. I thought it looked ugly from the pictures online, but in person they are not as bad. Looks decent. Con: hard to wear socks with them, and without the socks your feet starts to sweat and gets stinky after awhile because the soles are rubbery with no vent in the shoes. I normally wear 7-7.5, but with crocs 7 fits well.

I bought this shoe for work, I do a lot of standing and walking. My go to once I get home are Crocs sandals in summer, and Crocs clogs in winter they are comfy! I thought I would be buying a comfortable shoe comparable to the comfort in my other crocs. I'm so dissatisfied. First the shoe does run narrow, I had to go a size up, the shoe is also tight on the top of my foot and digs in, the back of the heel, gave me blisters while wearing socks. The comfort, well there really isn't any, only the removable insert is made with the Croc material that the sandals and clogs are made of. The bottom portion is made out of some very hard rubber.. To be fair I wore the shoes for a full month to try to get them broken in, everyday they now get more uncomfortable and my feet are crying well before my shift ends. My worst regret is I bought 2 because it was such a good deal.....

Comments about Crocs Women’s Duet Busy Day Skimmer:

I am a nurse practitioner and I wear these with my scrubs...wonderful. This is my second pair and I would be on my first but I put them in the dryer by mistake. They do run big so order at least a half size down.

Comments about Crocs Women’s Duet Busy Day Skimmer:

I actually have 2 pair of these in black. I have navy pair that I like the shoe but the navy color looks purple with jeans or navy pants/capris. These shoes are so comfortable I can wear all day without pain and that is with me having many foot problems including midfoot arthritis and bad bunions and more. Hope they never discontinue this still and material.

Comments about Crocs Women’s Duet Busy Day Skimmer:

I have owned many pairs of crocs for many years and been very pleased but was disappointed in these shoes. I have always ordered size 8 and these just did not fit right (toes rubbed). I thought about ordering 9 but knew then they would be flopping when I walk

Comments about Crocs Women’s Duet Busy Day Skimmer:

Don't like that these don't come in half sizes. Have one pair that are too tight in toes, ordered next larger size, returning because they are too big. Love the shoes, not the fit.

Comfy

Comments about Crocs Women’s Duet Busy Day Skimmer:

These shoes are very comfortable. However one shoes fits better than the other. I can also see a little bit of the glue on the tighter shoe, so they might have used a little too much glue on it. Overall, I can walk comfortably in it. I walk about 6 miles per day.

So which is it? The same rep tells one person to go up a half size and then 2 questions later she tells another to go down a half size. What?
Asked on 8/17/2015 by Toots from Boston

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

Apologies for any confusion. Certain individuals with especially narrow feet may find going down to the smaller whole size to be more ideal. However, as this style is offered in our standard fit, I will usually recommend going up to the next largest whole size. Our standard fit option is our least roomy or wide, so you may find going down to be too small. If you find that you need to create a return or have additional sizing questions, feel free to contact our customer service team. You can call them at 1-866-306-3179 or e-mail/live-chat here: http://www.crocs.com/cs-contact-methods/cs-contact-methods-v2.html.

  • Q:

    Are they slip resistant?
Asked on 8/9/2015 by Knat from Marietta, GA

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

The Duet Busy Day Skimmer style does not feature special slip-resistant tread. Certain Crocs shoes offer CrocsLock tread, which provides slip-resistance that exceeds industry standards. Please note that while they are slip resistant, they are not completely slip proof. Please use general caution as you would in any other shoe. You can see our collection of slip-resistant styles here: http://www.crocs.com/c/shop-by/activity/slip-resistant-shoes.

  • Q:

If they're too big can I send them back and exchange them?
Asked on 8/4/2015 by Phyllis from Rensselaer, NY

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

You can exchange or return either in a Crocs owned retail location, or through mail. To exchange by mail, you will first need to create a return on our website and then place a new order for the correct item. Please see all policies and instructions for doing so here: http://www.crocs.com/returns/returns-policy-v2.html.

  • Q:

I take a 9 1/2 a little worried to order an 8 why go down to the next lower size
    Asked on 8/1/2015 by None

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

For this style we recommend going down to the nearest whole size. In your case, I would suggest a size 9, not a size 8.
