I have heard great and amazing reviews on the Danscos from all my nurse co-workers, but I cannot wear Danscos so when I saw these, they had the same design but looked much more comfortable. I was right. I am a L&D nurse and am on my feet ALOT at work. I use to wear the original style crocks and though I'd give these a try. I love love love them. Thank you.

I loved these at first. They were comfy, roomy, and perfect for the fast paced kitchen I work in. that is until they shrunk. A whole shoe size. I can't wear them anymore and I'm forced to buy another pair after having these only a month. I've had my bistro crocs for 3 years and I love them but they're not cute. I liked the look of these plus the initial comfort. Overall though, I'm very disappointed. That its apparently a known thing that they shrink (i didn't know until I looked into it after mine did) why not at least put some disclaimer on the product? I feel ripped off by this product. And now I have to spend another $50 on new shoes.. I might as well have gone with berkies. At least those don't shrink.

Read all discription before buying! Extra unneeded padding!

By

About Me: Comfort-seeking

Pros

    • Unable to remove extra lining to prevent slippag
    • Unneeded padding!

    Comments about Crocs Neria Work:

Because this shoe has an insole, it raises the heel bed up too high for the shoe to fit properly. The heel slippage caused by this is very uncomfortable. The heel area of the actual shoe is too loose which also causes extra heel slippage. This makes the shoes non usable for the work I do in a busy hospital lab. I am on my feet at least 7 hours out of every 8, so I have to move quickly most of the time, and the slippage makes the shoe unsafe.

      Comments about Crocs Neria Work:

I have the flattest of the flattest feet, an extreme over pronation and with all of that going on I'm on my feet 10-12+ hours a day!!! Needless to say I've tried every type and brand of shoes to help with the excruciating pain I experienced. I became frustrated after spending $200.00+ on a pair of new balance that were made for my type of feet and after wearing them for less than 4 hours my feet felt like they were going to fall off. So, I tried the croc store, bought 2 different styles, the first one didn't work out, but this one feels like heaven!!!!! Never had to break them in as soon as I put them on angels began to sing lol. I've been wearing this shoe now for more than 6 months and they have yet to wear down, and for the price it's a win win!!!!!

      Neria Work Review

      Comments about Crocs Neria Work:

I have numerous problems with my feet, Neuropathy being one of them. A friend recommended that I try crocs work shoes. The soles are very comfortable to walk on, but I wish the backs were a little higher as I work in a kitchen part time. Also the shoe was tight and hurt my joints in my toes and rubbed the top of my foot.

I wasn't able to use them. I wear a size 9 and that is what I ordered. Even with socks they were too big. I ordered them online and had to wait a week for them to arrive. Now I will have to go to a Crocs store and exchange them.

      not what I expected

      Comments about Crocs Neria Work:

I was really looking forward to these shoes for nursing school. I've worn crocs before and I loved them. The back of the heel is so low it feels like your feet are constantly slipping out. It's very uncomfortable to walk like this and you feel unsteady. It's silly but if you aren't doing much walking the shoe is comfortable just like I think most croc shoes are but that's kind of pointless. I'm upset I can't return them now - I assume they will just gather dust in the closet - not sure what to do with them.

      Awkward Little Clogs

      By

      from Austin, TX

      Verified Buyer

      Comments about Crocs Neria Work:

The Neria Work shoe is cushy and light as advertised. They provide comfort when I'm standing in place while prepping recipes (I work in a kitchen, standing about 8hrs a day) for a long time. Also, the arch has a slight incline which I feel helps me keep a straighter posture than with my previous work shoes that were completely flat.

However, these shoes walk like flip flops, as in, the top opening is very wide and when I walk my heels slip out, which makes for an awkward lift and drag progression. I don't even try to scuttle quickly through the kitchen with these in fear that I might one day trip and face plant. Also, because the shoes don't have straps to hold onto like a flip flop I feel at the end of the day my toes are tired from trying to grip to keep them on my feet.

I haven't found another pair of shoes that I'm crazy about and I'm willing to work with these, but I probably wouldn't buy them again.

I wish the front lip of the shoe would end a little higher or closer to the rise of the top of my foot (I can fit a finger between the top of my foot and the shoe and that seems like too much space.) I generally wear a size 10 and have purchased in size 10. The length feels true to size, but they run wide.

      • Q:

My sister surprised me and purchased Neria Work for me and they came from Super Shoes. Delivered to my door. Am I able to go to a local Crocs Kiosk in the mall and switch sizes? I wear shoes size 8 1/2 --my last pair of Classic Crocs say 7 on the left and 9 on the right. These Neria Work slip alot and about a middle finger length extra at the heal. Will a size 8 work or is that too extreme? Thanks in advance for your reply!! Theresa

Yes! You can exchange to any Crocs owned store, outlet, or kiosk. You can also contact Customer Care and send the shoes in for their value on a voucher should the stores not have what you need.

          A:

You can pull out the soles is you choose to as they are only attached by the glue and not molded with the shoe as many of ours are. Keep your fully molded Croslite™ material Crocs shoes clean by hand washing them with cold water and soap. Please do not clean your Crocs shoes in the dishwasher or washing machine, as exposure to extreme heat may cause the Croslite material to shrink.

The Neria work shoe, is the relaxed fit, what is the width of them? My foot is about 3 1/2 inches at it widest point, and I want them to be as comfy as my classic crocs always were.My question is is the relaxed fit pretty roomy? Comfortable? I would love to know the width of the size 7 women's!

They are a Relaxed fit, yes, and sounds like you should have some wiggle room as a Women's 7 is 4 inches at the widest part.

Hi, I work at a crab house where we tend to use water to wash off floors and tables but sometimes it's not too much water. I'm on my feet all day in this type of environment and I was wondering if the Neria is the kind of shoe I need because of the croc lock slip resistance or will the slip resistance on the specialist be just fine?

          A:

I would recommend a shoe like the Neria, Mercy, or Bistro, for that type of situation. While also in our line of the work shoes, the Sepcialst does not actually feature our special slip-resistant CrocsLock tread. Please note that while they are slip resistant, they are not completely slip proof. Please use general caution as you would in any other shoe. You can see those styles here: http://www.crocs.com/c/shop-by/activity/slip-resistant-shoes
