As a true Crocs fan and customer, I told my son that he should try a pair of Crocs for himself. I had him look at the site and he wasn't aware of Crocs being for both men and women. He shopped the site and found the Men's Thompson Desert Boot and really liked the style. I ordered them and he got them in no time at all. He loves them. He wore them to work all day and he really enjoyed how light they are and how comfortable they are even after his shift of being on his feet all day. He is sold on them now! He also sees why I have so many pairs of Crocs. Thank you Crocs for giving us all such happy feet!

Bought the size 11. Too narrow for my left foot. Bought another pair size 12. too long for my right foot. I am keeping the size 12 for my left foot and the size 11 for my right foot. Throwing away the others. You really need to have 1/2 sizes for this product! Otherwise, I have been happy with Crocs products. (I have brought a lot of Crocs shoes because of my Morton's Neuroma on my right foot).

I had expe ted these yo be as comfortable as my old Clark's Desert Boots, but they have sharp seams ghat cut into your feet. I regret throwing my return slips away!

Given that most Crocs shoes/clogs fit a bit on the loose side, I was surprised to find that the Thompson Desert Boots were tight, especially in the forefoot, and they rubbed on the back in the Achilles area, too. I would order a half or full size up from your usual size to get a comfortable pair that didn't produce blisters. They are a good-looking pair of ankle high boots.

I was looking for a pair of "nice" boots to wear at work with jeans but still granted a high level of comfort. These boots are exactly what I wanted.
The boot fits as described in all of the Crocs documentation, if you wear a 1/2 size, go up to the next biggest. I wear an 11.5 and ordered a 12. The shoe fits perfectly.
The fit is not going to be the same as the traditional boot. The lacing is set up to keep the boot on your foot, not to secure an ultra tight fit like a traditional lace-up boot. There is not any slippage issues, but it does wear a bit loose in the top portion of the boot. This is not an issue, only a difference in traditional boots. With that being said, this is the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever had.
The boots are LIGHT! I have running shoes that weigh more than these boots do. The suede looks great and doesn't scuff very easily. The rubber outsole is a khaki variation in color and works great with a pair of jeans.
This purchase has completely swayed my opinion on Crocs. I may never order a different brand of shoes for day-to-day wear again.

Size is small compared to standard size. Make sure to order 1-2 size bigger than you normally wear. It is definitely NOT a slip-on type of shoes.
