I wanted to wait for a while before I reviewed these shoes as I have had a lot of cooks shoes that sounded great out of the box but did not live up to expectations in the long term. I purchased these in april of 2014 and it is now the end of february 2015. below are my observations. Overall they are comfortable but they do take some adjusting to , there is a small ridge that runs parallel to the base of your toes that will kind of be uncomfortable till your feet toughen up. but once broken in they are really super comfortable. the front of the shoes are made of a durable thick rubber that is spill proof and cleans easily, I just hose mine off every night after my shift and they look like new. they are very very durable , after 10 months at 40 hours a week they still look like new and the soles hardly show any signs of wear. the non slip surface of the soles is absolutely great and will stick tight to the greasiest and wettest floors however if you do not work on rubber mats they have a tendency to accumulate a thick layer of crud which can be very slippery when you hit a wet spot, I end up having to spray the soles clean at least one time a night, rubber mats seem to keep the crud scraped clean by comparison. overall for the price I feel that these are the bar none best cooks shoes I have EVER purchased all of the others fall apart after 4-6 months and are often much less comfortable to wear.

This is my third pair of Crocs and unfortunately the least comfortable I have purchased. They are inflexible, extremely tight, and narrow in spite of the fact that the listing says they're roomy. I've worn them for about 2 hours hoping they would relax a bit but no go.....If I don't wear socks they're okay but it's winter and the ones I just disposed of, 5 years old, were much more comfortable and more of a roomy fit. I have to wear these in the chicken coop because I can't get chicken poo on my good shoes so I hobble through my chores with them on. I'm almost reluctant to try another pair even of a different style because I'm concerned that the next pair also won't fit and then I'll be out the money for both pair!! ~sigh~ What a disappointment.

Bistro Review

Comments about Crocs Bistro:

I just recently landed a job behind a deli counter at one of our bigger grocery stores and I'm a big Dansko clog fan and thought they would be the ticket for comfort on my feet. How wrong I was!!!! I bought a pair of the Bistro clogs and from the first day my feet were thanking me! They are 100% of what I needed for being on my feet all day. The best part is I can clean them with a little soap and water when they get dirty. They are very light weight, have a great non slip sole and are very cushioned. I will be buying another pair very very soon!
Thank you for making the perfect solution to be on my feet a lot!

    Comments about Crocs Bistro:

I am a new nurse starting my second career and swore that I would never buy Crocs or another pair of white nursing shoes ever again. But with the spring and summer I needed another shoe because my black nursing shoes looked beat up and were killing my feet. I bought these and have to stop myself from wearing them everyday. I just love them. They are so comfortable with being in my feet most of the shift and just wiping them off makes it so easy to take care of. I am a new believer of the Crocs phenomenon!

I am a new nurse and swore that I would never buy white nursing shoes ever again after nursing school. But what happens when you just want to change up because of the seasons? I also didn't want to have something that would make my feet more tired with being on them for a long 8 hour shift. I love this shoes! They are so comfy and my feet were not tired at all. I wear socks and even with them, they weren't tight or too lose. I love the support and I even had to run for a 911 call and had no problems of worrying that my shoes were going to fall off. I love these shoes! Now have to decide what color is next? Black or the orange? Hum? The choices a girls got to make!

I've had these for 1.5 years. The non slip foot bed hasn't worn much at all. I bought these in a white and a black. They have a extra thick foot pad. I'm a diabetic, w/Bone spurs on bottom of heel. So these don't cause any problems for me. Many people don't realize they can modify there shoes. I put holes in mine and am adding a sticky add on.

I've never tried the Bistros because the RX Relief took away my heel & foot pain completely for the last 4 years. With the exception of the last pair I purchased my feet felt incredible. Thought it was just a problem with that particular pair so was trying to order another pair however the RX Relief can no longer be found. Lord have mercy, I may just have to quit my job since I will no longer be able to withstand the pain :(

More Narrow than the vented Bistro that I bought last year.

            Comments about Crocs Bistro:

I was surprised to find that they were narrower than the Bistro vented size 14 that I bought last year. I bought size 15 this time for more length but had to return them since they were too narrow.

The Bistro is offered in our roomy fit option, which is the most spacious that we have. I usually suggest going down to the next smallest whole size for this reason. If you plan on wearing thick socks always with this pair, however, the size 8 may be a better option to provide enough space for them.

The Bistro and Specialist Crocs are very similar styles. The biggest difference between the two is that the Specialist features a tread very similar to our Classic Clogs. The Bistro features a very slip-resistant CrocsLock tread, which makes it ideal for greasy floors.
