I purchased the Baya flip as an alternative to the Athens flip. I needed to replace my worn out Athens which were no longer comfortable on my feet while I am pregnant. The Baya look is sleeker which I like, but the fit is more narrow which concerns me since my feet might swell. It is hard to say if the Baya is as comfortable as new Athens, but the material is not as soft and flexible as the Athens. I wore my new Baya flips through several furniture stores this past Saturday and the part of the shoe that crosses the top of my foot rubbed the skin raw in one spot on the inside of both my feet. By the end of the day wearing the shoes hurt because of that spot. I never had that problem with the Athens, but I never liked the bulky look of the Athens so I'm still in need of the perfect solution.

I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered the 7 as instructed. I think they will wear well if I can get that strap stretched a bit to fit right. Crocs sizing is all over the place. To big, to small, loose or tight.

I absolutely love the baya flip sandals. They are super comfortable and they are molded to support the foot. I have wide feet and they fit me perfectly. I have chronic plantar fasciitis and they help to comfort my heel.

This is the best ever flip flop I have ever worn. Even my doctor is impressed with its support. When I tried to get them last year only to find them unavailable anywhere, I was fearful they had been discontinued. I have them in lots of colors but navy is my favorite. Thanks for bringing them back.

Need i say more of these were garbage I mean if you like wearing plastic and I mean hard plastic as a shoe knock yourself out these were horrible I return them and bought another horrible Pair (Crocs)that didn't even last a year but at least they were comfy. I probably will not purchase another pair of Crocs

The Baya Flip should feature outsoles with consistent traction to our other styles. It does not feature special slip resistant tread, however. Certain Crocs shoes offer CrocsLock tread, which provides slip-resistance that exceeds industry standards. Please note that while they are slip resistant, they are not completely slip proof.
