These shoes look great and feel great. They are possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They have a non-slip sole that provides traction on slippery surfaces. I felt safe walking on snowy pavement earlier this week after we had a blizzard here on the mountain during Hurricane Sandy. I will definitely be purchasing another pair in a different color!
