I am a big woman with diabetes and heels that crack, very painfully, and bleed. I also have a balance disorder. I bought these for everyday wear. The second time I wore these was to the podiatrist. He evaluated these for me, and he liked the treads for helpin my balance and making me safer from slipping, the arch supports, the general fit, and the toe room. He especially liked the high-backed cup shape of the heel. He said that will discourage ny heels from cracking. He said thy're ideal for me! These definitely discourage foot pain. I got a great deal on these black ones with silver flowers on the Christmas sale. I usually wear size 11 of other shoes, but i find size 10 Crocs work best for me. I also happen to think that Mercy Wor is a very pretty shoe! Now I need blue ones!
