When I received these, I put them on and wore them the rest of the day; and, the next; and, the next... There was no breaking in time. My foot is wide and there wasn't any rubbing at the sides at all. Great shoes. They look durable but time will tell.

I love wearing these in the cold weather and a pair of socks fit just fine with the liner. They are perhaps bigger than the pair of four years ago.
