Not elegant, but I can stand all day
I have all sort of Crocs and have not had a recurrence of plantar fasciitis since I mostly wear Crocs. Still, getting older with joint issues, these are about the best for support all day. Plus they have toe and heel coverage. They still have holes for breathing, but they give a little more protection in cold morning dewy gardens, etc. The best ones (for achy feet) that I have are a discontinued fisherman's sandal, and they looked more "normal," but these are now my go-to shoes for everyday.

Could not get foot in
The man I intended these for has a very worn out pair of Greely's. Since he wears them everywhere I wanted him to look a little better with a new pair. He could not get his feet into the new ones. My son could, with a struggle, so he lucked out. But it seems like ankle-turn is narrower on the new ones. I don't think it is solved by a larger pair. They both wear the same size, they both have the same older ones, and my son says the fit is fine once it is on.

The usual great comfort, with a little more style
My son and husband both liked these very much. They have a little more style to them than some, so they are not quite so obviously Crocs. Sorry. I wear my Crocs proudly. They love them but want them to look like more "normal" shoes. The fit advice said to go down for a half-size, and they are snug. But the next size (which we bought for someone else) was too big. They are being worn almost everyday.
