These boots were REALLY hard to get on. There is no zipper or gore allowing more room for your foot to manuever the end of the shaft/start of the bootie portion of the boot. I had to grab the back of the boot at the ankle area and YANK it to get my foot to move down into the bootie area, and it hurt my heels and ankle to do that. The foot portion left boot was much tighter than the right - either the right one was tried on many times before by other customers and stretched out or there is inconsistency in the sizing. The footbed portion was VERY comfortable. If you can get them on, you could walk in these forever.
The suede is quite delicate. I walked around the house only with them and they still got a mar on the toe area.
Once the boot was on, it was tight in the leg, as there is no expansion feature on the calf. There is no way a pair of jeans would fit into this boot for me, as they were tight and there is not a zipper to help get the jeans down into the shaft. If your legs are on the skinny side, this may work better for you, but if you have heavier calves, this will not be a boot you can wear with your skinny jeans - skirts only.
