I bought the Agean Blue/Black for my son based on a previeous reviewer's comment about buying the, for her grandsons. These are NOT boy colored crocs. They have a distinct purple sheen and my son refused them. Also note that the irridecence is a coating over the base color--it does not go all the way through the croc like regular colors. So it could likely flake off (although we have not had that happen--we are just saving these for my younger daughter to grow into in a few years). We are happy with out other crocs. These just do not appear in real life as they do online.
