If you are buying these for work, do not size down! They are very cute, but the 8.5 was dreadfully uncomfortable. My true size is a 9, and the 8.5 fit like an 8.5. Also, make sure to take into account that your feet will expand throughout the day, and you must accommodate that. Otherwise, they are beautiful and well-made shoes, definitely worth the price at 34.99. The leather is very thick and reinforced, and the footbed padding is comfortable. Cutest ballerinas I've owned, and they'll last more than a season! I may even buy another pair before they sell out. I marked the shoe down for comfort, but I believe the issue was just the sizing.
