I have never been able to wear flip-flops before. They hurt my toes, I tended to walk out of them, and I had to be careful not to trip. I have no idea why I ordered these, other than that I had seen them in my local Crocs store and had been intrigued by their look and seeming sturdiness. So I decided to give 'em a crack. They have turned out to be the first pair of flip-flops I can wear with any ease and comfort. The first afternoon I put them on, I felt as if I were learning to walk all over again, but that feeling lasted only the first day. They have given me no trouble between the first and second toes where the thong is. They provide unexpected support and fit my feet as if they'd been molded to them especially. I find them remarkably comfortable, and I couldn't be any happier with them than I already am.
Not Sure about These
I went to our local Crocs outlet yesterday and came away with three different pairs of shoes—wearing one of them, the Hover Slip-on. Once home, I took them off. I put them back on this morning, and the stitching began to come undone. Giving the shoe the benefit of the doubt, I will withhold final judgment in case the shredding stops, but it does have me concerned with this particular shoe. (I have no complaints about the other two I bought). I read people's complaints about the shoe running too tight. I agree. I wear a size ten normally. After trying on several sizes, I purchased a size 12(!). I find I have to wear socks since the inner edges are hard against my feet, but that shoud loosen up after some wear.
