The Yukon mid is one of my favorite shoes thus far. I wouldn't say it is necessarily the best shoe all around, but I like the potential it can yield for future models. The best things are a leather boot that ways nothing that is rugged enough for trails, and the insole keeps your feet going for longer than most other boots. The drawbacks I have had with this boot and a bit nerve-racking though. The fleece lining is a bad idea for both overheating of your feet and when hiking through different climates, this can actually cause chafing on the legs which I find irritating to no end. I took them up for a camping trip in February and moisture made them tear up my legs bad. Also, the toe area seems to bend and warp with use, perhaps just a fit issue there, but noticeable nonetheless. I hope this model really does get remade with some further innovations, because I still love a weightless hiking boot.
