I. Love. These. Shoes.
These have become my go-to casual shoes. I love them, love them, love them. The first time I put them on and walked in them, I was a little startled. The wedge is oddly springy, so I blurted out that I felt like I was walking on the moon. They felt kind of...bouncy? I'm not sure if I'm describing this correctly. Regardless, they're ridiculously comfy, and really lightweight. I've always been nervous of wedges, because in my experience they make me feel like I'm walking like a horse, but I had no such concerns with these. It helps the wedges bend a bit. They run wide, so be cognizant of that. I've had to create a new hole for the buckle at the heel so that they stop sliding off my feet when my toes slide forward. Really, really roomy. And my feet don't sweat as much as usually happens with Crocs! I literally wear these shoes with everything that goes with brown. Love, love, love these shoes.
First time I heard Crocs made dress shoes, I envisioned the old-school ugly Crocs, with a wedge. It was *hideous*. These, however, are attractive, comfortable, and they feel really well made. They're a little higher in the heel than I wear most of the time, but they feel incredibly sturdy so I haven't had problems with them yet. They make that satisfying hollow click a pair of heels should when you wear them, even. If I have any complaints it's that I had to size up and then get heel strips and spacers to make my feet fit perfectly, because they don't make a wide enough shoe. Also, my toes slide forward just a smidge into the toebox, because the inner surface isn't very level. That seems like a little thing, but it can get uncomfortable after a while. My favorite part of this shoe is the sheer comfort of them. It's not very often you get a devoted barefoot girl like me to cheerfully wear heels, keep them on for the entire day, and then get sad when I don't have an excuse to wear them again. They are literally the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever worn. And they look both classic and expensive. I can see wearing these for years to come.
