Another great addition to my Crocs collection
I purchased the iridescent dahlia and I'm having more fun with this color. Since there is no size 8.5, the relaxed fit really helps and the size 8 works for me. I love being able to throw these shoes in the washer - no stinky shoes or feet and they come out looking as good as new. If you put your Crocs in the washer, just make sure you have a high efficiency washer or watch the water level settings on older style washers, because Crocs float and you don't want the water to overflow. These shoes are comfortable and cute. I definitely recommend them.

Really cute but I can't get them on!
I own several pairs of all different styles of Crocs and I love them. I just received a pair of Berryessa in Espresso - they even included an extra pair of laces in brown just in case you don't want the rasberry colored laces shown in the photo. I was so excited, I couldn't wait to try them on; but try as I might, I couldn't get my bare foot in the boot. The boot was my usual Crocs size 8. I held the bottom of the boot against my foot and yes it looked like it should fit. The problem is the stitched piece that goes across the boot and is located at the bottom of the laces. This piece does not allow the top of the boot to open wide enough to slide your foot into the boot. I have a fairly standard size foot - its not wide, its not narrow, I do have an arch but its not abnormally high. If it wasn't for this design flaw, this would be a great boot. Too bad I can't get it on and have to return it - what a disappointment.

They look better on than I thought
I needed a pair of flats to take on a trip; and I love Crocs because you can slop through almost anything, give them a quick wash, and you're as good as new. It also helps that Crocs can look really cute. I must admit I didn't love this style and didn't consider buying this shoe for a long time. What changed my mind was the relaxed fit. I'm a fairly standard size 8.5 medium. In Crocs, size 8 fits me the best and I have always found size 9 to be too big. In closed toe shoes, Crocs size 8 are just a little short for me. My big toe touches the end of the shoe, not real comfortable, and in some styles, I get blisters on my little toes until the shoe stretches out a bit - I really wish Crocs would make half sizes. Anyway, if I can't have an 8.5, a size 8 relaxed fit closed toe Croc is much more comfortable than their standard size 8. I'm not sure that I could keep this shoe on though if it didn't have the elastic around the top. I share the same concerns expressed by other reviewers about the durability of the elastic, because if the elastic breaks, the shoe will be unwearable and they're not that cheap. I ordered the navy with the yellow elastic and I'm pleased with the way they look on my feet. Now, only time will tell how durable the elastic will be.

Not for narrow or maybe even for medium feet.
If your feet are narrow, these shoes are definately not for you. I was waiting a long time to buy this shoe in size 8 navy, but I finally gave up and settled for black. While waiting, though, I read all the reviews and became concerned that so many with wide feet really loved the fit. I'm a fairly standard size 8.5 medium. In Crocs, size 8 fit me the best. Our local Croc store doesn't have this shoe. If I had been able to try it on, I wouldn't have bought it. The strap over the toes is way too big. The only thing that makes this shoe wearable for me is my high arch. I really like the style and the cork makes it dressy. I'm not really happy with the fit, but now that I have the shoe, I'll keep this pair. I won't be ordering another pair, even if navy becomes available. And, when I read a lot of reviews about people loving the fit on their wide feet, I'll know not to order that shoe for me.
