Read the reviews and per them ordered a 1/2 size larger than I wear. The shoe is very loose but partially because they are a little too big. I have several pairs of the original Patricia's and the strap across the instep makes it fit more securely. Better stick with the original!

Have some leg problems that make walking any distance difficult and these shoes are a life saver! They are almost the same as being barefoot and stay on very well. I even wear them in the cooler weather with socks and they still look good! Gotten many compliments on them so now I'm ordering another pair in Navy. My black ones are even nice enough for dress up and I'm sure the navy ones will be great with jeans.
