I usually wear a 9 1/2 so I bought these boots in a 10. Unfortunately they are too big. I would consider trying a 9 however, the calves on these boots are huge. I'm no delicate flower 5'8", 145 lbs, althletic build, but the calves on these boots just slopped around on me. I guess if I tucked my pants in they would be ok but I would not be able to wear them with a skirt. They just look too odd. I really wanted these to fit because they are adorable. Oh well. Good thing I bought the Cobblers too.

These boots are great for snowy winters. I hope they will clean up well. I wear a 1/2 size and sized up to the next whole size. Usually in the "Fuzz / Lined" boots and shoes a 1/2 size up is fine for me but these are a bit big. They are too cute to send back so I will just have to wear extra socks.

I always wear a 9 1/2 in a regular width in a shoe like this but had to size up to a 10. 10 was too big and kept slipping off of my foot. So if you don't wear a true size, do not order th 1/2 size up. If you have a wide foot perhaps this shoe would work but narrow to regular in 1/2 sizes will have problems.
