New Shoes
I don't know if it's because they're new or because of the sizes not being half sizes. I just got them and they are very tight to get them on I actually had to use a shoe horn to get them on. I wore them at work which is exactly why I purchased them, on my first day they felt okay until I wore them a few hours, because of the tightness my feet started to ache, I am hopeful that they will soften up over time because of the leather, but it would have been better if they are made in half-sizes.

not comfortable
I have Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendonitis. My doctor recommended Crocs so I purchased the Edie Stretch Sandal which helped my feet a lot. For fall/winter I purchased the Chelea Work Shoe and they made my feet start hurting again. I also purchased and returned the Cobbler 20 Leather Clog. Disappointed with Crocs.

BIG GIRLS DREAM SHOE
when i bought the shoe i did a week worth of research to find the perfect long lasting shoe for big women. i am a mgr at a fast food restaurant and i have to stand 8 hours a day, every shoe i have had up until this pioint have never worked for me. at 330 lbs 5'6 if i don't have the thick canvas bottoms like air force ones sooner than later the shoe will get a "mean lean" to the side. and my feet will ache something terrible. pros about the shoe.. my feet hurt only when i sat down. i kept standing and moving so they wouldn't hurt. a abundance of comfort and my back did not hurt. cons about the shoe... because i am a big woman the mean lean came after 3mths of wearing them however i was at that time working from 6 in the morning to 1130 at night for three months straight so it is really not a con. the real con is the top part of the shoe on the front of my foot is bruised. still now after three months of wearing them the break in period for fat wide feet is about two weeks. i could have broken them in sooner if i would have thought of using thick socks at first and it may have prevented the bruising i thought thin would be better at first because my feet are fat but the thicker "hanes" sock was better for me in the end. but because of the comfort i felt wearing them i am now buying them again. i even searched for custom shoes but who has 2000 dollars to blow on one pair of shoes i say buy for comfort in the long run and yes the top part of my foot was hurting/irritated until i switched to the thicker socks.
