I bought a pair of these for each of my daughters because I wanted something warm they could slip on after swim practice. I was unsure when I ordered because they are so ugly looking but my girls LOVE them. They wear them all the time and would only wear these if I would let them. My youngest even managed to get them covered in mud at one point and they washed just fine. I saw at one time they came in pink. My girls would be go crazy for pink. Every time they wear them people ask what they are and where we bought them. I'm afraid my girls will be really sad when they outgrow them.

I debated on buying these "things" for my 5 year old. However she was all smiles when she opened the bag. The first time she wore them to school she had compliment after compliment about the 'things' on her feet. They are quite the conversation piece and she is proud to wear them. I would be wary if your child plays in playgrounds with woodchips. It did not mess up the shoes we just had to pick the pieces out. It was a little bit time consuming but lesson learned.
