When nano-silver ceramic crystals are combined with Croslite™ material, the end result is Croslite Ag+™ material. This material, which is naturally antibacterial, effectively kills harmful strains of bacteria and fungi which are routinely at issue with foot infections, namely bacterial staphylococcus infections and fungal athlete’s foot infections. The antibacterial and antifungal environment of the CrocsRX™ silver product line can be a critical benefit for those susceptible to such infections. Croslite Ag+™ material is an evolution of Crocs’ proprietary closed cell resin and is formulated with silver crystals in the Croslite™ material. Microbial tests were performed to determine this concentration, which produces a reliable 90+% kill rate for bacteria and fungi, effective for a one-year period of time.
