When deciding what size to purchase I went by the size chart which was helpful in determining the right fit for top to bottom but not for side to side. These are a good basic fit espeically top to bottom but very narrow for side to side. They pinch the center of my foot and the snaps or buttons that connect the center strap rub on the arch of my foot and cause blisters. I may buy another pair in the next size up because I really like these and crocs are great for my work as a textile printing studio tech.

I have fallen arches and get foot pain in most shoes from other brand names, even the very expensive ones with special insoles. Crocs brand in general are the only shoes I can war, and this is my favorite model. For the price, they are durable enough. I wore a hole in the sole of my last pair after wearing them daily for about 6 months. The style is dressy enough to look decent with a pair of trousers for moderately dressy occasions.

So I have Plantar Fascitis in my right foot. That turned into a heal spur and I stand on my feet for a living, so it made things hard and painful. Crocs are affordable and very comfortable. A month ago a ligament tore in my foot and my old clogs I have been wearing for years are no longer comfortable and actually hrut my foot. I bought these in white for summer and they are the only shoes I can wear now and not have any pain in my foot at all. I get up in the morning and put them on and they don't come off unless I'm going to work where I have to wear black or I'm showering or something. My only complaint with Crocs is, I don't understand why the soal of the shoe can't be the same with each shoe. They are slightly narrow, but I have wide feet. It hasn't kept me from wearing them, and I get compliments on them being cute crocs, where most of my friends would never wear crocs.

I've wore the MaryJane style for the past 5 years or so and was so disappointed when they were discontinued. I tried other styles, but wasn't happy until I ordered these and I think i like them even more, they are a more fitted style than the original Mary Jane style, they are not as clunky or sloppy feeling after wearing them for a month, they aren't stretching out as quickly as others. If you was a more streamline fit these are it, if you want loose go up a size. I just ordered 2 more pairs of these and love the white for summer and pink all year long.
