Work Hover

I wear a men's 8 and a half shoe. I ordered another style a few months ago - size 9. Sizing info said half sizes order up - laughably huge - sent them back - a hassle and expensive. I ordered the work hover and ordered a size down - toes banging into the front of the shoe. I won't be ordering any more Crocs unless they start making half sizes - maybe not then either. The work hover seemed cheap - absolutely no arch support - leather upper very thin and flimsy. I'll be eating this one - off to Goodwill - don't even want to pack them up and pay shipping.

As I've mentioned in other reviews, my husband never even wore Crocs until a few months ago. This is the third pair I bought for him so he'd have something for transitioning into colder weather (if the heat wave EVER ends, but I digress). He likes that this shoe looks absolutely nothing like a Croc, and it's completely suitable for working in a lab because of the full leather upper and the nonslip sole. Also, these shoes are very light yet supportive, so even though he is on his feet for at least 10 hours, at least his shoes aren't to blame for how tired he is.

This Is The 2ed Time I Have Ordered From Crocs, The 1st Pair Was The velocity , With Lasted Me 1 year , Im A chef And I loved The Shoe , When They Took Them OFF , I Had A Hard Time Finding A Good Comfortabel Nonship Shoe That You Tie , Then I Saw tHE Work Hover . I was Happy , Untell I oredr them ,, 2 months The Inside Heal Wore Off No Support , Please bring Back The velocity , You Had A winner With That Shoe,, thank You Chef Jack

I like other Crocs shoe owners was in love with the Old Velocity Shoe. A couple notes in comparison: 1) they tend to run a little larger where a men's size 8 Velocity my toes would barely touch and in the Hover have substantial toe box room. 2) I agree with other comments that they start off feeling tight / narrow but after a few days they break in and very comfortable. 3) Their styling is after the Converse All Stars and have the same loose feel. Crocs have minimalized the shoe sole height. It has the same awesome durable wet grip yet allows less things to get caught in nibs of the sole. 4) The sole is also level which is a blessing (since that is what I hated most about the Barista model = causing a lean forward during longer standing periods/heel tends to hang up when running upstairs) making it more comfortable to stand for a longer period of time. Overall it is the best work shoe of it's kind. It is my daily choice shoe I use for both my Cube life job and weekend restaurant work. I can vouch that with the styling this shoe can take the place of many shoes... offering maximum performance. Thanks Crocs. Keep up the good work!
