Best 60$ boot you can buy
I have been wearing these boots all winter and love them. I shoveled out my driveway, 2ft of snow in these boots last weekend in Boston's Blizzard of 2013, my feet were dry, warm and comfortable. In the same price range I don't think any other boot out there can compete with these.

Welcome to Winter Boots!
Moving from California to Indiana in mid-January raised a few new points of interest, mostly surrounding weather. I've never lived in a snowy area, but I have vacationed/worked in some snow for short periods of time. Trying to buy winter boots in Southern California is like trying to buy ice cubes in the Sahara, so I went for the online purchase. Being a half-size shoe wearer, I went into a store to try on whether a size up or down would be best, and I kept my faith in Crocs and ordered a half size lower than my normal... I love them. Whether I'm barefoot in these boots for a quick trip outside to check the mail or with thick wool socks, these slip-on boots are amazing and comfortable. The high ankle is great (when you don't know how deep the snow is and you have to shovel your car out), and the traction on them is fantastic without being super heavy or clunky.

Great for quick trips outdoors
I purchased these boots because I live in snow country and wanted some light boots that went on quickly. I estimated the size based on some previously purchased loafers and the boots run a bit larger for the same size. This is OK because I can also fit heavy wool socks in when frigid temps make it necessary, but not too loose if I wear ordinary socks for a quick jaunt outdoors to take out the trash, get the mail, get something out of the garage, or whatever reason. You might want to try your regular shoe size if you don't need the extra space for big woolies. I guess I should mention that my feet are EEE width but there is no cramping with these boots. I really like the way they are constructed, as well as the way they slip on with use of the heavy loop on the back. I have higher, heavier boots for more demanding outdoor actiivity that are zippered - and they flop all over the place when I'm trying to put them on. Not the CROCs. As important, I have not found the CROC soles to be slippery even though they don't have that "tire-tread" sole pattern. I'm well pleased with them.
