Comfy and office-worthy, but missing some arch
These are my 4th pair of crocs, and I will keep buying crocs as they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. These are no exception, however I feel the arch support could be enahnced. It is a little snug in the big toe area, but that lessens as the shoes are worn in.

Note to Crocs: Never discontinue this great shoe!
This is my favorite Crocs flat. I have it in purple and coffee. I've tried others, and their either a little big and clumsy, or maybe too funky, or too wild, or too transparent. This one goes anywhere and everywhere. The other flats spread out when my foot goes into them and because they are U-shaped around the instep when they widen out with my foot in it, the foot really looks fat (even though I am not fat and neither are my feet!). This has more of a V shaped cut, so it lops off half of each corner of my instep and that is slenderizing to my foot AND it also is very flattering to my legs!! It makes them look very curvy and elongates my ankles. Having a small ankle makes a leg look curvy, but if your calf goes into your ankle without thinning out a bit then your legs don't seem to have much shape. I have decent calves and fairly small ankles but they are not longish ankles, and this shoe makes my leg look more graceful and more feminine. Here's a hint. I took a staple remover and pulled out the silvery "Crocs" tag on the velvetish-suedish stripe across the toe. Just in case someone might want to think this is a leather shoe, why should I disabuse them of that notion? Not that I'm trying to cheat or anything, but I don't believe in free ads and going around wearing the brand name of the product I'm wearing whether it's a Ralph Lauren Polo Shirt or a Crocs shoe. I know it's still on the heel, but it isn't that noticeable there. So, I've worn these wading in Lake Michigan, walking on the Malibu beach, and swimming in New England. I've also worn them to nice restaurants and for walking around in the city. They're very comfortable once they get used to your foot. They don't scuff. And you can slip them on and off easily (which I do even though my foot doesn't seem to get too wet inside). (They're not terribly well ventilated, but I've never gotten athlete's foot wearing them, so I guess they breathe through the holes in them. My old purple pair now does smell like gym shoes a little, but I've had it more than a year and worn it a lot. I wash them in the sink to prevent them from building up foot odor. The new ones don't have that situation -- yet. But it is not unbearable and is easily controllable, and considering how much I wear them, it's worth it to rinse and dry them from time to time. My old shoes are size 7. I normally wear a 7.5, but they fit perfectly. And even though they've had a lot of wear, they still look new. The new pair seems a little snugger than the old pair. At first I was wondering if that was because they were made from a different mold, but they're the same length and width. So. I'm guessing that the old ones just feel looser because the material becomes more flexible with time. The old ones look just as good as the new ones. I CERTAINLY HOPE THAT CROCS NEVER STOPS MAKING THE KAELA BECAUSE I WILL NOT BUY ANY OTHER FLAT in their current collection because they do not have such a flattering cut around the instep. Some Kaela flats are a bit prim . . . a bit clunkier. Others seem hot, or sexier. I'd get those but they are not as flattering. These don't look like you're TRYING to be sexy, but they do flatter your leg. I wish they came in more colors and that the sole was a different color. It would be fine to have any colored shoe with a black or coffee colored sole. Taupe, rust, gray, navy, teal, gleaming gold or gleaming silver (black soles on those, please).

Good Shoes
These shoes are very comfortable and cute enough to wear to work. The only thing I don't like is that due to the materials are in the shoes, my feet feel really can't "breathe" and get hot. The hotness will not deter me from wearing the shoes, although I might save them for cooler weather.
