Hover Lace Up Leather

Love this shoe. Fits well and gives good rugged use with a leather outer. Has the same comfort as most Crocs and is a great all around shoe. I am a fan of the Army green/stucco look, which is unique for a lace up sneaker. Sweating happens a bit more in these with the leather material and occasionally the tongue area can "buckle" if lace up tight, but these aren't big drawbacks for an otherwise good shoe.

I was first attracted to the look of these shoes. I bought the Hazelnut Hover Lace Ups. The colored stripe around the soul of the shoe looks black in the image online, which I thought was weird for brown shoes. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I got the shoes in the mail and the stripe was actually dark brown, not black. These shoes are incredibly light weight and really comfortable to walk around in. My only disappointment is that they are not quite as form fitting as I would like them to be. They feel a little loose and wide to me. The side wall of the right shoe also rubbed my foot in an uncomfortable way the first few days. Since I've broken them in the side wall thing is no longer an issue.

So I got these because my feet hurt all the time and I love my crocs flip-flops. The backs are cut low and after wearing them for less than 4 hrs they had cut into the back of my ankles. They really turned me off of getting another pair of crocs.

This is a good looking sneaker alternative, but the low back cuts in just above the heel making them painful to wear. Hopefully this will get better when they break in.
