Duet Scutes

I had a pair of old Scutes stolen on the beach and had trouble finding new ones. The ones I found were too wide for my narrow foot. Then I found these Duets at Famous Footwear, tried them on, and voila! And they were only $29.99. They fit perfectly for my smaller foot and are even more comfortable than my old ones. I normally wear a 7 1/2 - 8 but I wear a 7 in these.

I had several pairs of the old Scutes and they fit my feet perfectly because I have very wide feet. These new Scutes are cut much narrower in the front and push my feet together. I cannot wear these all day long like the old Scutes or they hurt my feet. Crocs - if you remake the old model of Scutes, I will continue to purchase many pairs, but I cannot recommend these to anyone. That said, I also bought the Duet Sport Clog and those fit my wide feet like the old Scutes, and are very comfortable. If you want the same fit as the old Scutes, I'd give that shoe a try (even though it's a clog).

I love the light weight and airy feel of these, but they are definitely cut smaller and narrower than my old Scutes.

I purchased these for my husband who finds it difficult to find comfortable shoes or sandles in his size 15. He really loves these. He says they are so comfortable and wear's them all the time.
