No way-these hurt!
I am a 12 year Crocs wearer currently enjoying many styles but my all around go-to "flip flop is the Athens. I gave this new incarnation a try and was terribly disappointed. Yes, this definitely runs small but that was easy to fix. I really dislike the lower arch of the thong straps across the top of the foot...it isn't as roomy as the Athens and it's a thicker and stiffer toe piece as well. 3 stars for the wearability, durability and colors. Also, the straps don't come back across the top of your foot as far as the original AThens and they are harder to walk in. Didn't like them.

Disappointed long-time Croc wearer
I bought a pair of these when the Croc flip flops I'd been wearing for 4 years finally broke. But the piece on these that goes between the toes is too large, too stiff, and really uncomfortable. After 4 weeks o tryign to break 'em in, I'm giving up (and getting a different pair of Croc flip flops instead!).

Uncomfortable...
I now understand why this sandal has been reduced in price to $10... In addition to being smaller than other Crocs sandals, the designed foot bed changes results in a very uncomfortable fit... The big toe rest area is slanted so that the foot tries to slide inward resulting in additional pressure between the toes where the center divider strap lies... A real disappointment when compared to previous sandal purchases from Crocs...

Retreads
I have worn a pair of crocs flip-flops for these past 4 years....constantly. The center post finally gave way when my cat-trax trapped the heal as I stepped forward. I was pushing my Hobie 18 up the beach. The Duet Athens do run small as they advise. I have been wearing these for over 2 weeks and the only negative difference is that the center post between the toes is a bit wider and is a bit uncomfortable to adjust to. I am adjusting. They do stay on and I am pleased with them and will wear them as long as the weather stays above 60. I will go for a leather upper next time.
